I promised pictures and here they are! Thoose pictures below are from the day we picked him up:
We have so many plans with our new Minicamper <3
But first some facts: We brought a VW Caddy Generation 4, the 2 L Blue Motion Diesel Version. As Max wanted to have a Diesel because of the km we drive we looked out to get the one which is thrifty and eco-friendly. Inside we have the standard interior carpeting and the middle sized radio with 6 speakers. We already startet planning how we would like to rebuild the inside, but about the outside we were quite certain allready. We wanted it to look a bit like a old Bulli, at least the color:
We decided to wrap the car in foil instead of lack as it is much cheaper. I called a lot of companies to check out prices and we finally found the right company in Kernen-Rommelshausen (it's near Stuttgart). Last weekend before we went out to test our caddy for the first time we made a quick stop at the workshop.
The lady (a bulli lover! perfect for us, she adored our idea) already printed out some examples so we could decide which color we like (the color does come out a little more yellow because of the foil, thats why we had to make some test printings). Thats the color we all agreed on:
